Shell design research and design study's for a new airport in Innsbruck.
Still in a very early stage.
Main interests are tessellation, structural system and form-finding tools as well as practicing my cross software skills ;)

Software in use:

Maya nCloth
Rhino+GECO+GeometryGym
GSA
Ecotect Analysis
Catia

Special THX to geometrygym and [uto] !

This is great! I reposted it on the premiere online community for Rhino users: RhinoJungle. Here's a link for you to view it. http://bit.ly/hn1wfS

We'd love to have you as a member!

Hey Frank -

Really interesting but I can't really tell what's going on exactly. I've done some GH-GECO work but haven't delved into GeometryGym yet.

Can you write a brief description of each stage of optimization? What are you using GeometryGym and CATIA for, specifically?

Thanks.

Very nice images and models.

Are you using the form-finding in GSA as well as the static analysis?

Hi Peter, no, for form-finding I'm using autodesk maya and it's build in spring solver (nCloth).

Hi msyp, basically I'm using GeometryGym and GSA to find the right balance between material usage, possible openings and form as a structure (form=structure).
